Meet our doctor:
Dr. John Gosnell was born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Indiana college of Optometry in 1998.
Dr. Gosnell practiced in Indiana and Iowa before returning to Nebraska and starting Lake Avenue Eyecare in Gothenburg in 2002. He has practiced there for the past 14 years. He is a current member of the Nebraska Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and a supporter of the Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Gosnell has served on the NebraskalandDays board of directors and is a current member of the North Platte Chamber Ambassadors. He and his wife, Dr Wendy Gosnell, have three boys that occupy most of their time outside of work.
